Excited children + long lines to see Santa = Frustrated parents

Situation.

A visit to see Santa is long awaited by children and often dreaded by adults! Children excited to see Santa plus the long lines often associated with the visit is a recipe for a stressful holiday experience. Research shows that extending visits to shopping malls does directly affect sales. The challenge is making the Santa experience positive enough to prevent everyone from leaving the mall immediately after the visit.

Solution.

We concepted and designed a Santa area that not only worked to add festivity to the center but also entertained children while they waited. Activity stations were located throughout Santa's House, and children remained engaged and content as they progressed through the line.

Results.

Happy parents, happy children and successful Santa photo sales. The set became a hit for local TV, and Santa's Home became a media darling. Happy Holidays for all!
