Atlanta Bread Company opens a new format

Situation.

A local franchisee of one existing Atlanta Bread in the Charleston market decided to open another store in the market, and one with a new design, new menu and new logo. Although the Atlanta Bread branch had been well-established in the market, opening a new store with new branding elements would require more support than the corporate marketing department could offer

Solution.

The new restaurant sits within walking distance of nearly 1,500 hotel rooms and a major coliseum/convention center complex. Almost 5,000 persons worked at major office complexes within a five-minute drive, and the location near a major outlet center and brand new museum provided all sorts of opportunities. CampCreative developed all sorts of couponing opportunities, and developed two grand opening celebrations.

Results.

Despite all sorts of challenges from an operations standpoint, the new store opening firmly established Atlanta Bread as a great new partner with all the local hotels and major conventions in town. We were able to generate excitement about the new menu and begin establishing the new look and new menu.
